Speech Topic Tips 1. Consider what excites you. It
is always best to identify
a persuasive speech topic from what you are passionate about in
life.
2. Keep in mind that your enthusiasm for the topic is contageous. Be enthusiastic about your speech topic and it will become a persuasive speech topic for sure. 3. Learn all you can about the topic chosen. Your abundant knowledge will impress your audience and they will be convinced by the content of your message and your enthusiastic delivery style. 4. Speak from an " If I can do it so can you" perspective. 5. Speak about the benefits to the listener of your message. People are most interested in how a specific topic relates to their success and well being. 6. Whatever topic you choose make sure you tell your audience stories to get your message across. Remember: You can only speak persuasively when you believe strongly in what you are say.
