Hi.  My name is Mike Moore and I am a professional
speaker. For over 30 years I have been earning fantastic fees for giving presentations and seminars to people in business, industry and the professions throughout Canada and the United States. It is a great life and I wouldn’t do anything else.

Welcome to  Launching Pad to Profitable Speaking. Each week for the next five weeks you will be receiving instruction via email on how to begin earning a great part time/full time income giving speeches and seminars.  If you follow my instructions in this course you will be able to, more quickly and effectively, launch your own speaking career.  What I have learned over the years will save you a great deal of time and energy.

SO LET'S BEGIN



First of all take a close look at what interests and excites
you in life.  Your interests will provide you with valuable
clues re. speech and seminar topics. When you have identified
your passions, select one and  start researching it
thoroughly.  You must have about five times more researched
material than you would ever need for your talk..

Give your presentation a catchy, appealing title. Your title
is much like a good headline, It gets audience attention and
makes them want more.  Here are two examples of my own titles.
Leadership is a Laughing Matter. This talk deals with the
importance of humor and laughter to anyone in a leadership
position.  Light Up With Laughter presents the humor and
health connection and is the title of one of my books. By the
way, my main focus as a speaker is humor and human potential.
Notice that these two titles are crisp and catchy.

Take this quiz to help you decide whether a speaking career is
for you. The more “ Yes” answers” the more oriented you are to
speaking in public.  It isn’t scientific, but it is sensible.

to speak for profit. Interest and compulsion are two important
ingredients.


HOMEWORK: Select a topic based on your interests and passions.
Write down as much topic related content  as possible.
